about us

WoFV

The ministry hosted its first session on 7 March 2015 at a Park in Pretoria with only 10 women. In 2015 the ministry initially focused on hosting topical conferences and it has since grown to focus on broader challenges faced by not only women, but the community at large. The ministry has expanded its reach to also cater for youth and families. At its conception, the ministry did not have a formal strategy to direct its works. Through prayer and mastering to hear the voice of God, the ministry has since developed priorities to support the attainment of its vision and mission.

WHY WoFV

  • WoFV is not just an ordinary get-together women’s ministry. It is a prophetic movement established under the foundations of apostles and prophets.
  • WoFV is about transforming ordinary women into leaders called to labour in the Father’s vineyard.
  • WoFV is about releasing women into economic freedom through training, business empowerment and investment.
  • WoFV strongly believes that the time has come for women to stand, cry and celebrate together to build one another.
  • WoFV is a platform of trendsetters, innovators and warriors.

APPROACH

  • As a ministry, WoFV endeavours to understand the needs of communities it serves. The one-size-fits-all approach does not work as various communities are facing different challenges.
  • WoFV leaders will assess the needs of communities they serve and develop programmes customised to meet their specific needs.
  • The ministry endeavours to conduct evangelism using different kinds of mediums such as word of mouth, social media, radio and print media.
  • WoFV will provide capacity development to women to run satellite establishments.
  • Proper administration of ministry leadership, workers, members and volunteers’ affiliation.
  • The core function of the WoFV Ministry remains women empowerment and keeping itself relevant by conducting research on the latest development pertaining to challenges facing women.
  • WoFV will give back to communities and to those less fortunate through social-responsibility programmes.
